The Clippers had a good season last year, and as 2012 rolls around, many fans are on the fence about the team and Clippers tickets. Given the recent turn of events and the state of the economy, are Clippers ticket still worth the money? Sure, the diehard fans that have money to spare will probably still keep on buying a Clippers ticket for them, but what about the rest of us? The debate for Clippers ticket still goes on and on.

The 2012 season is in full swing and Clippers tickets are now on sale. However, there is a question if fans are actually buying them. While the Clippers are looking strong this time and can really emerge through the Western conference with good results, the lockout is still on going. With no apparent end in site, this is probably the reason why lots of fans are staying away.

Another issue at hand is that through the past months, there have been reports of many league players signing contracts to play with other teams abroad. While a lot of them just got for one or two games, word is there are actually individuals that will be gone for the whole year. If any of the Clipper players are part of this, then this will surely affect the morale of the team, and cripple their ability as a whole and complete unit.

Another sad reality is that compared to other sports, the NBA is not a popular as it was before. Now, sports fans may opt to spend their money somewhere else, or within other sports tickets, such as football and the NFL. Of course, teams like the Clippers will be affected by this, because not many really want to go to a half empty stadium with lesser fans.

At the end of the day, a real Clipper fan has to ask, “Are Clippers tickets still worth it or should I spend my money somewhere else?”. If you are a fan, then this is what of the questions where you have to decide on yourself!
